'57' is an artist book consisting of 57 archival pigment prints and hand-set texts. Created in memory of my father, the work explores the question: Can you miss someone you do not know? Through images and fragments of text, '57' reflects on absence, longing, and the unexpected sense of connection that can emerge in the presence of the unknown.
